Walk With Your Man. Stand By Your Man.

 Stand By Your Man

The eyes have seen and our ears have heard some of these saying: “You got it .. Use it”.  “What’s for you … Is for you”. “Man don’t work.. Don’t eat”.  “All things must be done decently and in order”.  And more importantly, “two can’t walk together unless they agree”.

Amos 3:3 NIV

Do two walk together unless they have agreed to do so?

Bride and Groom

Could the reason for the Groom who stands at the alter, waiting for the Bride to come down the isle be based upon what’s seen or heard? In other words, from attending other traditional weddings it appeared to be the normal thing to do. Could the very reason a bride be escorted down the isle by her father or an important male figure in her life be from following traditions or the  Bride or Groom never thought to ask the question of walking together down the isle, for the reason of what they’ve seen and heard in the past?

Walking and Standing together.

I believe if we take away hearsay they say and doing it their way, we could see more light at the end of the tunnel. We all bleed the same, however, we’re not the same. It’s time for the bride and groom to walk before the thrown together. As you agree to walk together, you’re agreeing to stand together. It begins way before the ceremonial. I have a vision of both Groom and Bride walking together down the isle, approaching the alter on their wedding day, kneeling and praying giving God the praise for blessing their union as they’re growing into committing  becoming one.

Even thou, Eve came after the man.

God saw how weak man was without woman.  He saw man needed a helper.  So He made a woman suitable for him, not perfect. Someone who’d be there after he attended the garden to attend to him. Someone with the ability to stroke the wonderful man he is.  Not by hands. but by words of encouragement. Telling him.. To let the God in him continue to rise, while you are praying fighting off evil spirits of the world that rises against him.

Men were designed to work the ground.

Working with sweat rolling down their brows through the trails on their face, beading on the ground in which he came from.  While your man is trying to build strength to figure out the next step. We, as women should let him know, God’s got a bigger plan for him.  That God’s plans are always bigger and better than ours.  Tell him you’re standing by him, like a tree planted by the water, when storms come, he doesn’t need to worry.  The ground he’s sweating upon is built to stand any storm. Tell Him to walk with you while standing still.

While we’re standing. God is Moving.

It’s God who moves through us connecting dots, connecting the right puzzle with its pieces and puts everything together for us.. While you’re standing still He’s moving through you, for you, while guiding you. He fills you with His words saying.. He’ll never leave you or forsake you.  If, you believe in me, you must believe in the father also.  You can’t love me, who you’ve not seen and hate your brother who you’ve seen.

As we’re standing still, we line up.

The head of woman is man.  The head of man is Christ. The head of Christ is God. We are all one within the body of Christ.  Keep standing still on God’s word and watch as He moves through you and for you and not by you. May God’s words continue to reign in the soil in which you stand.

1 Corinthians 11:3
“But I want you to realize that the head of every man is Christ, and the head of the woman is man, and the head of Christ is God.”

Women

Stand by your man. Stand with your man. Walk with your man. Pray for your man.  Stand on the word of God and watch Him move.
